im 14 years old 5' 10''

when i was 10 i was 4' 8'' then i started playing basketball (pluz drink milk and eat my moms chicken broth)

i grew more thaan a fett in 4 years i wonder what does playing basket do to make you taller?

It's so lame compared to other sports. It's just a bunch of people who happen to be tall hanging from hoops like monkeys in trees. Look at a team of real physically fit athletes, an Australian rugby team for example, they would crush a basketball team in a fight.

I'm sure all avid NBA fans watched / listened to the Dallas v. Phoenix game, and personally I thought Phoenix & Steve Nash was getting screwed all night long. But besides that- did Steve Nash move up any in the MVP race, with his 32, 8, 16 night? Dirk missed big FTs, while on the other hand Nash drained them. 10 pts in 1 minute.

Me? I'm a Nash guy- but I'm curious what you guys think. And don't give me no Gilbert A, Lebron James, or Dwayne Wade crap. They're leap years behind these two.

For the past days i/ve been struggling from the line and i get fouled a lot (since i'm a center) but it seems i cant make a free throw i need help fast becuase tomorrow i have a playoff game and i think the other team is going to foul me since they saw i been struggling from the line.

I need some tips,excersices or something.

Why is the NBA allowed to fine Phil Jackson $ 500,000 for voicing his opinion about a perceived "witch hunt" directed at Kobe Bryant? It seems that this would violate his free speech.
I do not watch much basketball and don't really follow the NBA so forgive me if the question seems stupid.

I think The Rock's elbow is better because he doesn't cheap shot anybody. Kobe, the dirtiest player in the game, hits people when they can't defend themselves and pretends it was an accident.

Duke is so over rated. Just because they have the name doesnt mean they belong in the tournament. How can a 7 ranked team in the ACC end up being in the tournament let alone get ranked 6th? I wached espn and those Duke lovers which are mostly espn employees picked duke to be in the semi? Now they lost against an unkown team and showed people how they really are. A sorry team this year. Coach K is over rated. Last time he won anything big was with Leathner and Grant. Go UCLA!!!!!

both big men shoot well from long range,but between rashard lewis and rasheed wallace who would you pick as the better player?yeah wallace has a ring,but that aside who you pick as the more talented player? i like lewis hes my favorite nba player.
