I'm sure all avid NBA fans watched / listened to the Dallas v. Phoenix game, and personally I thought Phoenix & Steve Nash was getting screwed all night long. But besides that- did Steve Nash move up any in the MVP race, with his 32, 8, 16 night? Dirk missed big FTs, while on the other hand Nash drained them. 10 pts in 1 minute.

Me? I'm a Nash guy- but I'm curious what you guys think. And don't give me no Gilbert A, Lebron James, or Dwayne Wade crap. They're leap years behind these two.

I'll go with Nash. Wednesday night's game showed that Nash has a never say die attitude and the heart of a champion. He never gave up and took over that game to help propel his team to victory. Dirk has this ability as well but he doesn't showcase it as often as I feel he should. He would just as easily have Terry or Stackhouse take the big shot and a times it seems Dirk gets a little rattled when the defense is really on him. So I say Nash will win his 3rd straight MVP award.

Has anyone who said "Dirk" or "Lebron" seen the Suns play w/o Nash? They look like a bunch of high schoolers playing a pick up game. Nash is the glue that holds that team together w/ his leadership and passing skills. The Mavs can scrape by w/o Dirk, but traditionally the PG is the position that makes or breaks a team (which is it's hard for big guys to win an MVP...unless you're Shaq). Nash's numbers this year are even better than last year's so he should win it again.

I like Dirk, can't stand Nash ( I think his play is a results of rule changes to favor the offensive player). That being said if you restrict it to ONLY these two players, I have to go with Nash. Nash has shown the ability to take over a game when it matters most, not that Nowitzki can't, he just hasn't shown that he has the desire to do it yet.

Nash and Nowitzki are remarkable, ok. yet Kobe Bryant can do something they might do offensively, (Nash is a extra effectual passer, ) and he performs close-down protection. And Bryant, tho he performs on a competent team, isn't surrounded by the type of expertise that Nash and Nowitzki. my fave participant is Kevin Garnett---20+ factors and 10+ rebounds each and every nighttime, great protection, stable, frustrating, lively, stable passer, blocks photos, in basic terms an superb all-around participant. yet---and that i do unlike Kobe and that i despise the Lakers---kobe is the main respected participant, and the perfect in the NBA precise now because of the fact his team is prevailing and with out him his team does not be prevailing.
