It's so lame compared to other sports. It's just a bunch of people who happen to be tall hanging from hoops like monkeys in trees. Look at a team of real physically fit athletes, an Australian rugby team for example, they would crush a basketball team in a fight.

Soccer players and Rugby players are gay. If you don't like Basketball get out of the basketball section. Go to the Rugby and Soccer section with the other pansies on yahoo. Basketball players are pure athletes and showcase the best talent that sports has to offer. Soccer is a skill sport, I'll give you that, but anyone can pickup and play Rugby. So carry your Crocodile Dundee behind back to the outback and stop hating on Basketball because no one pays Soccer or Rugby any attention.

Basketball is a contact sport. You have to be tough, fast, skilled, and strong. Not to mention greatly in shape. Tell those rugby players to try to make a three pointer over Shaq with 5 seconds left in the game for the win. Bet they can't.

What does a fight have to do with sports? Who cares who would win in a fight, Austrailian rugby players probably get no @ss, and nba players get tons of tail every night...so go have fun playing rugby and touchiing other mens balls, while basketball players get all the women!

3) Easy to follow
4) Your able to play without haveing a team

I think it depends on whatever you like...right? Personally, I adore pro-Basketball and soccer (real football) *and* field hockey. In a way, they're very similar with basically a lot of running and trying to make goals.
I can't abide by American football or baseball; they bore me to tears. Apparently, I like sports that involve people running back and forth.

In my opìnion there´s nothing like soccer, but basketball is OK. I think it attracts so many people because of its pace and because of the thrill of the last seconds (when the game is even)
