Duke is also the 7th ranked seed in there bracket. What a crock of crap. I guess just the sure fact of your name and being in the east coast gets you there. Duke at best should be a NIT tournament team at a 10 ranked seed in the NIT.

So the tourney committee chair mentions yesterday on CBS that this year was the hardest year because of all the 20 win teams(he said 104) yet then he lets this 18-12 Stanford team in for the heck of it...over a 23-8 Air Force team that beat Stanford by 30 points? Fair or unfair? What other snubs do you think are absurd? Why is Arkansas not a 6th seed...in the NIT?

If U look at there regular rotation they have Kendrick Perkins(skipped college), Gerald Green(skipped college), Sebastian Telfair(skipped college), Al Jefferson(skipped college), Rajon Rondo(rookie), Leon Powe(rookie), Ryan Gomes(1 year NBA experience). Their whole core is basically made up of guys that should still be in college right now if they had not skipped or entered the draft early! ! Then theres Wally Szcerbiak whos unpredictable, and Michael Olowokandi who isnt even better than Kevin Durant that plays for Texas.

Paul Pierce would easily average 45 points and 12 rebounds or so. . . but do U think that would be enough to beat the likes of Florida, Kansas, UNC, Memphis or Ohio State if he didnt get much help from his teammates? I seriously doubt they could even make the elight 8. . . They're the wrost defensive team in the NBA if you ask me and some of these teams in the NCAA can really light it up. What do U think ? ?

um how would everybody feel if they had 2 ncaa tournament , one for mid majors and then one for big conference team , that way they could get more big conference teams in and you dont have these cupcake teams in a big team field ? then have the mid major champion play the nit champion and the winner of that play the winner of the big conference champion and you would have your undisputed national champion overall and leave no doubt . does anybody agree with me on this idea

Do u think that offering Ben Wallace huge amounts of money and length - despite his age - on his contract was such a good idea?

ok hes a former defensive player of the year, and routinely in the top list for boards, blocks and steals....but this year his numbers have been TERRIBLE!!!!

should they have kept Tyson Chandler? the kid has put up massive numbers this year and has shown that Jerry Krause wasnt crazy all along when he traded Brand for him.

Yep! they did it again at the buzzer again to the Wizards. You got to give credit where credit is deserve, Please non-Heat fans do not jump on the ban wagon now, Dirk might as well swallow his comments he made about the Heat especially if we get a fresh Dwane Wade back by atleast the 2nd round.

I mean, there almost looking like the 72-10 Bulls team. I would be ashamed to have that such season just to get upset by the Spurs, Heat, Pistons, or the Suns. Man you seen what they did to the Lakers last night? But everybody knows the playoffs is a whole new ball game, they just better look like a championship team comes May or June.
