The reason they brought him in was almost entirely for the Shaq factor. They came close to beating the Heat last year but had absolutely no answer for Shaq. They had nobody with the size and defensive presence like Wallace and don't forget the great effort he did in denying Shaq a championship a few short years ago. Yes Wallace is older but has never had serious injuries or prolonged injuries that would suggest a short career. Transition years can be difficult and since the Bulls were already a really good defensive team all around last year, if not the best in most categories, some of those defensive stats like rebounds and blocks are taken up by other teammates.
And yes Krause was crazy to give up Brand! How many all-star teams has Tyson been on. And this is his first all around good year while Brand has had numerous.

Some people when they have been on a team for so long must go to a new place to really develop. This was the case for Tyson Chandler and Eddy Curry. Granted they are having career years....they would not be doing this in Chicago.
As for Ben Wallace....well thats what happens when you have a household name, people remember you for what you was, not what you have become....which is old lol....That contract was a horrible mistake.

noticeably lots any dogs that has a huge head and a short coat could be misidentified as a 'pit bull' that's fairly on the subject of. American Staffordshire Terriers are patently between the main concentrated breeds seeing as they look very comparable, yet different heavily suitable breeds like Staffordshire Bull Terriers and American Bulldogs and their crosses additionally are unfairly concentrated as APBTs. Bull Terriers are often talked approximately as 'pit bulls' and that they are between the 'pit bull' breeds- being between the unique struggling with dogs breeds. How British Bulldogs are actually not the two talked approximately as 'pit bulls' given their background i'm uncertain, yet I think of Bulldog mixes could additionally particularly be concentrated. different breeds like Dogo Argentinos, Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Labradors (rather crosses) etc can all be fallacious for pit bulls. Heck- shall we face it- the media will call a Chihuahua or a German Shepherd a pit bull if there's a dogs attack to objective and sell papers.

I think they should have kept E. Curry. Chandler is a good defensive pressence, but Curry is a great low post threat. It would have balanced out their offense and made them a top tier team. Wallace is a good player, but the system is not ideal for his skills.

Ben Wallace is the greatest centre on Earth, he has alot more experience then Tyson Chandler, and I believe thats why the Bulls bought him over.

from the looks of it, he is out of sorts... perhaps he doesn't fit well with the bulls' system? perhaps he needs a little bit more time to adjust and get familiar with his teammates?
remember, he was the dominant center of the east and played for the pistons with an entirely different system, one that's built around a stifling defense....

I dunno... it got me thinking. I feel that giving up T.C. was a mistake, but the Bulls are better this year, I believe.
