how do you think the mavs will finish the year record wise?
will Nowitzki get MVP?

69-13

MVP should be judged on the player's value to the team. If Nowitzki were injured, the team would still find a way to win. Now the Rockets simply can't win without McGrady. That makes him an MVP in my perspective of what an MVP should be.

What people don't realize that the Mavs are on a mission. You don't win 12, 13, and now 17 games in a row by MISTAKE. They're simply doing what they're supposed to do, WIN. Simply put. The Spurs have a 12-game streak, so what? The Mavs did that twice already. Phoenix won 17 straight too? But none of those wins were agains't the Mavs. The Spurs are 1-2, the lone win coming at the season opener, and the Suns haven't beaten the Mavs yet this year. With the way that Avery Johnson strategizes and gets his team prepared for games, I seriously doubt that they'll lose anymore. The key thing about the current streak, is that even when the Mavs weren't playing @ 100%, they did just enough to win. They know what it takes to be consistent. 17 straight games should be a testament to that.

hey i wish the MAVS have a good record and lose badly in the Playoffs cuz listen man it doesnt matter now they are gonna be in the playoffs even if the starting lineup of the MAvs goes on vacation for the next 19 games but it matters if they can win the PlayOffs when games count and Nowitzki probably wont

Seriously there r only like 5 games that r potential losing games
Phoenix(2)
San Antonio
Detroit
that's it
now the mavs could choke and lose to another team but I doubt it
So I say anywhere from 69-13 to 73-9

amd yes Dirk will be MVP

the record wont matter at the playoffs. they will have a good record but wont even get to the finals this year.. dirk will not get mvp... he is a great scorer but doesnt get his teammates involved like nash. he needs steady assist stats to get mvp, not just scoring.. at the playoffs the rockets will beat the mavs in the second round. . if the rockets stay healthy the only team that can beat them is the suns because of how fast they play and will have yao tired quick. other than that nobody has an answer for him.

Possibly losing the most, 3 games. But will possibly get eliminated in the playoffs by Potential Suns, but mostly Spurs and if they miracously get by than Definantely by the Heat with all that trash talkin Dirk said about " we let the Heat win last year" what type of statement is that coming from a professional athlete. Just say you couldnt beat'em even though you were up 2-0
