Whenever the US goes into any world basketball championship, whether it's the olympics or the FIBA World Championship, it always loses. And it's not like they take crappy players anymore either. Last summer they had Carmelo Anthony, Dwight Howard, Chris Bosh, Chris Paul, Dwayne Wade, LeBron James, Kirk Hinrich, and Joe Johnson to name a few and they still couldn't get to the finals and beat a team like Greece which to my knowledge has no players in the NBA. If you're gonna claim superiority in the world basketball scene, at least prove it by winning a FIBA WB championship title.

Is the NBA the best in the world? Back yourself up with proof.

if you get tapped with one hand then you are OUT of the game. Like sit and watch your friends play for 30 minutes because you are OUT completely??? I have never heard this rule and I am 24 years old. I was playing against 18 year olds, so I was wondering if this was some kind of new rule and if anyone else plays like that???

With a healthy Tracy McGrady, and Yao coming back fresh for a run, I think they are serious contenders!

i saw gerald green dunk in high school and he was sick so im picking him. i think its a mistake to have dwight howard in the contest because hes so tall and he is a power dunker. nate robinson will look good even if he isnt just because he is short. tyrus thomas is gonna be interesting. hes tall but he is creative also so he will be my dark horse.

What NBA team could have great or even championship potential but struggles to find it's bearings because it has a position with no skilled players on it's roster? And why?

My Example: Houston Rockets- Power Forward. Our best guy is Juwan Howard who is putting up 10 points a game and 6 rebounds and in Houston we are doing backflips because that is huge numbers for him. :(

I have been pondering this for sometime. ok I think that they should change the nba assist rule to where if you pass it to someone and the person that recieved the pass shot but doesnt make the shot and gets fouled the person that passed it to them should still get credit for the assist even though the guy missed the shot. You are still setting up your teamate for possible points.

Any men wanna embarrass themselves and come and say they love watching it? I myself would rather watch grass grow. The only thing I could ever stomach is maybe the final 30 seconds of the national championship. This is not a stab against women.......just women's sports! I love flipping to a game and seeing an old man stand up and yell at the refs, all red in the face.......you just wanna put your hand on his shoulder and say, "calm down buddy, it is women's basketball"

i wouldnt categorize this under sports because it is not a sport in my opinion, but no one would find it then.
