No one right now in the league is better than Steve Nash. He is going to be MVP again this yr for a 3peat and his numbers are even up from last yrs. Who else is going to get 20 a game plus 12 assists a game? Steve Nash is not only the best player in the league but he is also on one of the best teams.
Chris Paul will definitly be one of the great players to run point in the league, but for now its gotta be Nash.

P.S. Don't get me wrong, Kobe is the most talented player in the NBA, but Nash is definitly showing the most.

Steve Nash is better, because he has a better outside shot.

I'd say they are equally good at handling the ball, taking over the game when needed, and making their teammates better. Nash has a better supporting cast, so he usually gets more credit than Paul.

As soon as Paul gains more experience in the league (learning the tricks from the trade) and starts consistently hitting from the outside, he may very well be better than Nash. Give it a few years, hopefully Paul can stay healthy.

Steve Nash is easily the best player. He is averaging about 12 assists per game and almost 20 points a game. He is a 2-time MVP and is the reason the Phoenix Suns are the best team in the league. His court vision is one of the best in NBA history and he is going for a third MVP. He also shares the ball better than anyone and that is why everyone wants to play with him. Why do you think Boris Diaw and Raja Bell are so good now that they play with Steve. Chris Paul is one of the better point guards in the league right now but Steve might go down as the best point guard ever (behind magic).

Steve Nash, he has won the MVP two years in a row, and should win, minus a controversey, this year as well. Nash makes everyone on his team better. Look at some of the no names he was playing with, Raja Bell, Jones, and Diaw. They were all nobody's before comeing to Phoenix. Also everyone that did not play with him, and now does has seen and increase in production. Anyone remember Joe Johnsone, or Quentin Richardson, well not now, now that they play elsewhere, but when they were with the Suns Many knew them.

Paul is good, and he will be one of the best PG's but not just yet, there are many out there right now that hold that title.

Nash wins! No brainer... Two MVP's in a row about to get his third. Overall he make s his team better, he's not selfish and even if he was he'd have Big O type numbers. But overall best PG has to go to Kidd OF N.J. Averaging almost a triple double a game , Now thats Big O like numbers. Points and assits go to Nash! Defense and all around player goes to Kidd and Kidd has age on Nash and still dropping the stats, plus in the middle of a nasty split! New Jersey makes it to the finals, Watch out Kidd will be a mad man on a mission! Put some thought of adding Kidd into the mix!!!!!

Steve Nash. Right now, it's not even a comparison. When Paul gets 2 MVPs, the nthis'll be a conversation. if you mean at Paul's age, than paul, I feel, is more advanced through his career.

I like Chris Paul more, but Nash is better.

This is only the 2nd season of Chris Paul and he's been injured for the most part of it.

I think he's a great point guard and he will be an all-star someday.
but he's still young.

Nash has been mvp for 2 years(even though I didn't think he deserved it), and he's a great point guard, he leads the nba in assist, great at shooting, and is always a member of the team that averages the most points.

He makes everyone better.

PS so they don't play D, but they are still good players.
