I absolutely believe it would. Height is a major factor in basketball, and there are many good players out there at a disadvantage because they're not over 6-foot. It would sell to regular-sized people who see a commonality with athletes at their own height playing basketball professionally. Who knows, the competition in the under-6 foot leagues might even be fierce because every player would be a good ball handler.
I think from elementary to college level, there should be short and tall leagues...it would allow everyone to enjoy the sport of basketball fairly. It's about the talent, not the height.
