Carmelo Anthony is really bad. He's so popular that everyone thinks he's good. He shouldn't be the starting SF. And Lebron James is not a Shooting Guard, although he could play that position. Here is what i think should be the starting line-up: (PG)Dwyane Wade,(SG)Allen Iverson,(SF)Lebron James,(PF) Kevin Garnett,(C)Amare Stoudemire. Tim Duncan (PF) will be on the bench along with Kobe Bryant (SG),Jason Kidd (PG), Dirk Nowitzki (SF), and maybe Shaquille O' Neal (C). Elton Brand will be an extra Forward, Jermaine O' Neal as an extra Center, and Gilbert Arenas as an extra Guard. Sorry for the answer being so long. And yes, they are going to bring respect back to USA basketball, GO USA!!!!!!!!!!!

Amare Stoudamire may not even be on the active roster. He will doubtfully be in the starting lineup, particularly ahead of Chris Bosh.

The US may have trouble winning at the World Championship, but will win at the Olympics. By then, the core of the team will have been together for two years. They are still new know.

The big advantage other teams have had over the US is the chemistry that comes from playing together. We will have a little of that next year.

Also, I think in America, the Olympics are considered a bigger deal than the World Championships. But in other countries, the World Championship is considered the more prestigious competition.

probably not. despite the overwhelming talent these players are all massive egos more concerned with their image than their performance on the court. maybe coach k can get them to play together but i just don't see the team work and the camraderie from dream team I anywhere. they'll play well but i predict they'll be beaten by a more technicallly sound south american or european team. most of the team usa players are street ballers who will lose out every time to more technically skilled players when they don't have nba refs swaying the game in their favor due to their popularity.

You're talking about the Heat here, aren't you?

If so, well. The Heat is a good team, organized and focused... but I'm not sure how much respect they can dish out to USA Basketball, them being one time out of alot.

I think that since they've realized that they can't just throw together a team and go beat the world that they will win the championship and bring back respect to USA Basketball.
