Ahhhhh....now I see, you were on some sort of "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" -style trip when you wrote this?
Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant are very comparable players, physically, but not skill-wise. Let's assume that MJ and Kobe are equally potent offensive threats, and focus just on their defence and leadership.
Defensively, MJ was the Defensive Player of the Year in '87-'88, as well as being named to All-Defence First Team NINE times. Not to mention he has the second most steals of ALL-TIME.
Kobe is no slouch defensively, but he's only been a First Teamer 3 times so far. Think he's got 6 more lockdown D years in him? Maybe.
MJ lead the Bulls to 6 championships, and who knows what would have happened in the years that the Rockets won had MJ been there the whole time. And adversity? MJ lost his father in a sensless murder....and came back for 3 more titles.
Kobe had his run with the Lakers, which equals one of MJ's three-peats. If he rattles off 3 more consecutive titles, then we will have grounds for comparison.

Kobe's a team player but he insulted Shaq. That's not cool. About MJ, i agree he was awesome. You can say he was made of air the way he flew around the court. Alan Iverson was also good that time thoguh he never made it big like MJ but ala's a team player thats y the San Antonio Spurs won the championship against LA lakers.

I would not pick another player to take a game winning shot in the NBA, BUT Kobe showed a lack of character when he snitched on Shaq. As a result, I do not like him.

he hugs the ball and shoots the ball and don't pass it much so he's got a chance to become one day the highest scoring player but will not win another championship because he blew it by not getting along with Shaq. He's a great player though.
