I believe he is one of the top five (5) players to ever play the game. He was a mega impact player. Bonus question: Name the five (5) players that you think are the best all time.

Did Leyland make a mistake starting Robertson over Bonderman in Game 3? I mean, Robertson lost game 3, and bonderman lost game 4. If it would have been the other way around, the results might be different. But my pain point is that if this goes to a game 7, it will be Robertson pitching, not Bonderman. Bonderman is a far better pitcher than robertson, and I don't know why leyland has bondo pitching only once this series (if it goes 7).

i live in Seattle and it seems like there arent many women (if any) that are into baseball. most of them are into the Seahawks or football.
is it because Seattle isnt really much of a baseball city? and places like St. Louis and Detroit are?
is it because the Mariners arent good?
i like all sports, mostly baseball. seems like baseball attracts the least number of women. (at least in my city)
i have been going on this yahoo answers thing for only a day or so and have been seeing mostly women posting responses to baseball questions. maybe i just wish there were more women into baseball in my city. is that so bad?
is there something in the water in the mid west that just gets chicks into it? seriously. i'm going to go to the bar and watch game 5. GO CARDINALS.

Didn't Kansas City (a team with more than 100 losses in 2006) sweep the season ending series with the Tigers? And didn't the Tigers give up the division championship as a result? And didn't the Tigers not do so well against the better teams in the American league in 2006 regular season? This being true...why did so many expect them to win in the Series with a sweep?
Is it possible that the sports media mislead so many fans just like the liberal news media does in their business?
It's just something to think about.

Sorry Tiger fans, couldn't resist gloating a bit. Just a jab back at the press that was saying the Cards should hope they get one and be happy at that - or "Tigers in 3"

Good luck - looking forward to an exciting game tonight or whenever!

Please provide short version of career, teams, honors, incidents, etc. Inspite of recent controversy I genuinely think Kenny has tried to change his image to something of a more positive nature. I think he has found his nich in his career as a teacher, helper, a leaning post for the younger pitchers on the team. He seems to have provided a stabilizer force on the pitching staff. I don't won't to over simplify the guy or his career, just shed a little perspective. Even with this latest event I still think he has proven to be a good addition for the team. I'm getting a little long with this question and explaination, however I beleive some people need additional chances in life before they find themselves. Now maybe this guy has pulled a great snow job on me and many other Tiger fans, I hope not.

The new Busch Stadium did this season, but who was the one before it? Hint: The stadium isn't around anymore. Winner gets a pat on the back.

Say Verlander comes through and gives us a win. Then who do you think will pitch game 6 and 7 if necessary.

I think

game 6---Kenny Rogers, all though it would be nice to have him for a game 7(if here is 1) I think you play him in this game because to get to game 7 you need to win game 6.

game 7---Bonderman, I just don't trust Robertson.
