Yogi Berra has 10 World Series rings...
1947, 49, 50, 51, 52, 53, 56, 58, 61 and 62.
That, I believe, is the most ever for a player...
Mickey Mantle won seven rings, same as his uniform number
1951, 52, 53, 56, 58, 61 and 62
Joe DiMaggio won 9, in his 10 World Series appearances (losing the series in 1942)
1936, 37, 38, 39, 41, 47, 49, 50 and 51
Babe Ruth won seven World Series, including three with the Red Sox
Red Sox 1915, 16 and 18
Yankees 1923, 27, 28 and 32.
Ruth was on the losing W.S. teams in 1921, 22 and 26
Lou Gehrig won rings in 1927, 28, 32, 36, 37 and 38... (a total of six)... he was forced to retire in 1939, but the Yankees won the series that year, anyway.
As you can see, Jeter and Williams have a long, long way to go.

How many world series rings does one player have?

Yogi Berra does own the most rings as a player- 10, but he actually owns 3 more as a NY Mets coach (1969) and NY Yankees Coach (1977 and 1978)...He also owns some serious MVP hardware...All in all, he owns 13 WS Rings, the most all-time
