Did Leyland make a mistake starting Robertson over Bonderman in Game 3? I mean, Robertson lost game 3, and bonderman lost game 4. If it would have been the other way around, the results might be different. But my pain point is that if this goes to a game 7, it will be Robertson pitching, not Bonderman. Bonderman is a far better pitcher than robertson, and I don't know why leyland has bondo pitching only once this series (if it goes 7).

I don't think its a mistake. St. Louis is poor against lefties.

Not a mistake, but it could be looked at both ways.

Bonderman did not lose game 4, the bullpen did.

SL are hardly the best hitting team against lefties and have been like that all year, so you want your lefties pitching in this series, he just had a poor game.

Just because they lost both games, does not mean Leyland made mistakes.

Leyland is a genous, he doesnt make mistakes. his players do. he makes mistakes by thinking his flame throwers (Rodney, Zumaya, Jones) in the bullpen can last more then an inning a piece. everytime they have pitched more then 1 inning they mess up. open your eyes little pussycats, the Red Birds are pecking your eyes out. No point to bring up something that can't be changed. Cards are just too good.
