out of the 3 big sports, which one is the best?

The last question received a lot of angry responses, my favorites were that the fatties puts up such big numbers that they don't have to hustle- or that his coach doesn't want him to run anything out because he might injure himself- or that I'd rather have a .300 hitter who doesn't hustle than a .250 hitter that does. Well the injury response is just plain silly. If he is an ATHLETE in good shape that stretched a lot, running out grounders shouldn't be a problem. And far as the other two arguments are concerned, hitting is a skill, HUSTLING IS A CHOICE! They don't have a .250 hitter, they have a great hitter who chooses not to hustle! Given the choice, would you rather have a mega-slugger that ran out each grounder, or a mega-slugger that doesn't? It's his choice to make...

He is one of the greatest hitters in the game right now yet he, like almost every other fat a s s slugger before him, refuses to run out base hits or try to lose his gut. He makes me reminisce of a certain fat a s s that was traded to my Angels named Mo Vaughn. I had to watch that giant terd walk halfway to first then start walking to the dugout before the throw to first was even made- but back to David Ortiz... I truly feel that even if you're a consistent .300 hitter, a perennial allstar, a constant threat at the plate, and always a threat to hit a walk-off, you're still not an athlete (let alone a complete player!) if you can't even run out a ground ball! I swear, don't even get me started on playing a position! At least the NL can expose players like Barry Bonds for their liabilities.

You can't say their offense. I mean they have promising talent. Carl Crawford, 100% future all star, Rocco Baldelli, robbed the ROY from Angel Berrora, Jorge Cantu, 28 HR, 117RBI last year, Jonny Gomes, BJ Upton.

Their pitching has Scott Kazmir. They'll make trades in the offseason.

Their defense is definetly improving. Its tied for 8th in the AL.

I mean, will they always suck, I'm a die-hard fan of Boston, and I hate the always beating us so them getting better wont help. But I just want to see them in the Postseason.
