Hell yeah! Yanks are bringing home #27 this year!!! I have no idea how people can say they won't win it due to injuries... they're getting healthier as we speak. Cano is back with a vengeance, Dotel just came back, Matsui & Shef should be back in September. And without them we are still leading the division. Wang and Mussina are great, even with a couple off games, Johnson still has some juice left, and Mariano will shut everybody down!

I think that the Yankees will win the World Series in '06. Considering everything that the Yankees have been through this year - the loss of key players that play major roles in the run production of this team - and the fact that their a-top their division - 2 games (ahead of the Red Soxs) - you got to give it up to them and tip your hat. The Red Soxs have played great - don't get me wrong. It's just that with all the things that happened to the Yankees - and the fact that they have their two major run producers in "Big Papi" and Manny, they should have taken advantage of the Yankees situation and should have a huge lead over us - like the Mets do in their division. The Yankees will win the AL East, the Tigers will win the AL Central, the Oakland A's will winthe AL West, the White Soxs will win the Wild Card. The Yankees will play the White Soxs - and win. The Tigers are going to MURDER the Oakland A's. That leaves the Tigers and Yankees facing off...the Yankees'll win the A.L.C.S. in 7 games and then they'll play the Mets. SUBWAY WORLD SERIES...that'll go to 6 games. Should be exciting. I'm going to one of those games...and then parading in NYC after the Yankees win the World Series...for the 27th time.

There is NO WAY the yankees win The World Series this year, or next year, or the year after that, or the year after that.
yankee fans need to get a clue. the yankees have NOT won a World Series in the 21st century.
I find it very funny that the yankees are spending $198M this year for NOTHING!!!!

Not I. In fact, I don't think they will even make the playoffs. Ask the same question Monday after the weekend series between the Red Sox and Yankees and see what responses you get.

I think they will find a way to 'snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory" this year. But with their lineup and gargantuan payroll, they may do it this year or next year. The lineup is full of dangerous hitters and the pitching has been decent. If the Yankees do not win the WS this year, the management has to be blamed again because with their payroll, they really should win every year.
