I don't understand why everybody - mainly people in NYC - are hating on A-Rod. This guy is trying to please everyone, when he should just please himself. I know he doesn't always come up big with needed big hits in key situations, (he does come up with big hits sometimes) but he's trying hard. Yes he's going a slump (OFF/DEF) but who doesn't? This dude is putting up good numbers this year - but just not up to others standards. He's batting .287 with 86 RBI's and a .387 OBP. Why, thats similar to another 3rd baseman in another league...David Wright who is considered to be having a remarkable year. Why the difference in opinions with people with similar stats? Well I have news for you people. HE'S HUMAN!!! I mean, imagine all the pressure this man puts up with from people - and the fact that people - in his own home town - boo him doesn't help. You think the booing is going to encourage him? That's not right. Let the reigning MVP have some breathing room, a person can take but so much!

I think I heard there are 9 ways, but I'm not sure. Some of them require less than 2 out, I believe, or other special cases (like bases loaded). Anyway, I wonder if any of you baseball nuts can figure out the obscure ways.

Anyone think that things are really tense between these two teams after Eaton hit Rivera in Anaheim and got ejected in first inning and just yesterday Vicente Padilla hit Guerrero on the wrist, Rivera got hit in the ribs, and Wes Littleton almost hit Guerrero near end of the game. Today Michael Young and Freddy Guzman got hit in the 8th back to back. In the ninth Scott Feldman hit Kennedy, the benches and bullpens cleared and Feldman had a right handed uppercut waiting just for Kennedy. In the past 2 days there have been a total of 9 or 10 ejections total and suspensions are surely coming soon. I sure wouldn't mind seeing that Angels spare that crowds the plate with his elbow guard, the one thats having his best season to go along his mediocre career, hmmm think his name is Rivera or something.

So you've got your team, and there's those select few guys who just beat up on your team constantly. You wish one of their arms would fall off. By the same token, you admire their skills or the way they play and you'd be the happiest guy in town if your team aquired them. Who are these guys? Who's your most hated/loved guy from another team?
