Ok, what's going on? He's won his last 2 outings after both Josh and Curt lost both their games??!! I'm glad we won, but was he pitching well? I didn't get to see the game tonight!

Yes, Boomer seems to be back to last season's form, which is kind of like a late season trade for a quality left handed starter. (I stole that from Jerry Trupiano).
As for your beloved Josh Beckett, I think that his great start could have been attributable to his being unfamiliar to AL hitters. He has now been through the league and the hitters have him figured out. He will have to work on new pitches and deliveries in the offseason. The Red Sox are committed to him as you know. In the meantime, are you considering changing your name to Boomersgirl?

he looks pretty good, he had one bad inning that he gave up 2 homers, but otherwise he looked pretty good. i'm glad he's back, and I can't wait for wake to get back. we need to be able to trust the bullpen so Schill doesn't lose in his last inning.
