They moved to San Fransisco after the 1957 season.
The SF Giants have never won a World Series. They lost the world series in:
1962 (Yankees)
1989 (Oakland - the 'earthquake' series) and
2002 (Angels)
The Giants also won the NL Pennant in 1904, but because of a dispute between the NL and the AL, they refused to play the American League Champion Boston Red Sox.

In 1954 Willie Mays, the Giants centerfielder, made a running catch that is now the icon of great World Series fielding plays. It was a web gem 40 years before the web gem. Three years later, the Giants and Dodgers, who won their only Brooklyn World Series in 1956, moved to California. BTW, your Giants had the World Series won in game 6 in 2002 for about 6 innings.
