Work on your technique. If you have a good average you should have decent technique already. Make sure you get your hip rotation and step down correctley. Other then that, hit the weight room, eat a bit healthier, and perhaps take twice as much batting practice as usual.

I just answered your question on getting more speed out of your pitches. You realize that hitting is all about timing, strength, and making contact. I suggest working on the batting motion with the goal being to get the most powerful, yet compact swing that YOUR body can make.

Work on your technique.....I'm going to be a Sophomore and I hit the same way as you.....I too play for high school......But i'm mostly a pitcher......also lift weights for more arm power but don't use your arms......lifting just helps.....use your hips more.....these things will help you.....

u should try using your entire body and not just your arms, use your legs and thighs. Also, have a level swing and finish high.

Besides doing all right things workouts etc.I found something that work for me.I used a 35oz. bat,for 3 months i used a 40oz.bat nothing, but when i when back to the 35oz. bat,wow M.V.P.

I wouldnt change my swing to make my homers go up. Just good solid contact and the homers will come. your still getting bigger so strenth will come with time and training

while you swing make sure u turn your hips towards the pitcher when you swing and that will help with distance
