extra inning games are so predictable - every hitter tries to go up there and hit a homer to win it and that's why extra inning games last so long - how many bunts do you see in extra innings? the first hitter usually makes an out because he's trying to hit one out and that kills the whole inning - I'm surprised we don't see more extra inning games like that

The people who were there sure got their money's worth. Long games like that tend to bore me up to the 12th or 13th inning. Then its just a mrathon to see who can outlast each others bullpens and what not.

Its first time to see the two games are longer of 18 inning yesterday. Its became first time that two games are longer in MLB history.

I loved the Cubs Astro game, watched the whole game even though I had to work this morning! Jones' homerun was awesome Yeah Cubbies

the astros game aggravated me because lidge blew another save. i hope he gets back on track soon. other than that the stros didn't take advantage of a few opportunites and then the cubs got some clutch hitting. i didn't catch the d-backs game, though i'll bet it was a good one too.

I stayed up through out the HOLE game for D-backs and Rockies and i'm only 13 and that was a school night for me!!!! IT WAS A WICKED GAME IT WAS INTENCE!!!!
