the reason why they got manhandled by the above score is first off mark hendrickson pitched (I would rather have a mutilated and defunct ostrich pitch than mark hendrickson). Secondly since hendrickson was pitching the dodgers knew they would have to cross the plate numerous times to outscore their opponent...so what does the retard manager decide to do? Hmmmmmm let's see he puts in offensive powerhouse (sarcasm) toby hall in place of red hot russell martin---who is a rare offensive-minded catcher who plays good defense. Also he sits furcal. What a moron. That my friend is why they lost. Not to mention josh johnson was the opposing pitcher ( he had a 2.68 ERA coming in- although he did struggle a bit) That my friend is why the dodgers lost 15-4. Cya.

The Dodgers had Hendrickson on the mound, a recipe for disaster. Plus it was a day game after a long night game. Hey, they're going to do fine, and I think they'll sweep the Giants too! GOOOOOOOO DODGERS!!!
ALL THE WAY!!!!

the pitching for the Dodgers basically didn't show up. Hendrickson gave up 5 in 2.1 innings, Sele comes in and gives up 2 in 1.2 innings of work, the Carrara comes in and gives up 5 in 1 inning, Beimel comes in gives up 3(2 earned) in 3 innings, finally Tomko comes in and gives up zero in 1 inning.
The pitching from the first three simply would not cut it for a win. Also Hendrickson gave up 4 in the top of the first inning. while the Dodgers got 2 in the bottom of the first, it is reminiscent of last year when they liked to give up runs in the top of the first and try to play catch up.
If the pitching had showed up we would've had a chance. Yes it's only one game, and tomorrow the Dodgers have an off day to travel..but still a pitching performance like the one seen today was horrendous and hard to watch.

Marlins are obviously a better team then you think, even if they are the youngest team in the league.
Besides, every team is bound to get clobbered here and there. They cant be perfect every single game.

Don't sweat the small stuff. It happens every so often. I still think the Dodgers will win the NLWest.

Inadequate pitching. Do you actually believe that pitching staff can win a seven game series(should they even make it to the playoffs)?
