Cabrera,Abreu,Damon,Williams,with Sheffield and Matsui on the D.L.,but not forever.Let's say Gary and Hideki come back before the season ends,what happens then?By golly,what happens next year?

Granted, it's a nice problem to have. Hard to say what they will do. One other question would be, is Joe Torre coming back? I think the Yankees, with the players they have coming up next year, will be loaded. I see a few World Series Championships in the near future.

2B: Cano
SS: Jeter
3B: A-Rod
LF: Matsui
CF: Damon
RF: Abreu
DH: Giambi

This year will be pretty much the same thing except that for precaution the Yanks may put Sheff as DH.

Sheffield will be gone next year. Most of the rest of it stays the same, except they'll add pitching and a good young backup catcher.
