I think Adrian Gonzalez(SD) because he has committed only 1 error all year, he has made some pretty spectacular plays at 1st base. Compared to other starting 1st basemen he is 1st in fielding pct.(tied with Garciaparra(LAD) 70 games played) and has 84 games played.

He's making himself look bad doing this. He should've went to a better contender like the Yankees, Red Sox. Now he's just some guy putting people in seats.

This is a tough one. And for the record, coming up and getting 53 ABs as a rookie counts as a season. In other words, Mark Mcgwire is not one of the answers. Think hard. I'll post the answers later.

I personally don't think so. Babe Ruth played in a era when no minorities could even play in the same league as white ball players! Therefore since "The Babe" didn't face any minorites except his own kind, how can he be the greatest baseball player ever? To add to that, look at the different pitches that were thrown. During his time there no breaking pitches just straight fastballs. So how could he be the greatest?

don't you all find it comical how everyone has counted the braves out at the HALFWAY point? what a joke. hey here's one for all the naysayers; who has won 9 of 12? that's right mets fans! andruw, chipper, francoeur, even laroache are all red hot right now. the pitching is still hot and cold, but maybe we'll pick up a good veteran starter for the stretch. hey mets fans, remember the 93 dodgers? they had a 13 1/2 game lead at the break and wound up crying at home during the postseason, just like you guys will be!!

Do you ever hang out in soccer shorts around the house? Do you wear them as underwear? I do. Same goes for jeans and cargo shorts........ no underwear. I wear Abercrombie, American Eagle, and Aeropostale. IM me (josh_wagner12) if you want to chat. I would like to discuss this with other guys and girls that want to. I am fashion concious and like to look good.

I want to see everyone's opinions. I believe that Barry Bonds uses roids as does Giambi and Sosa. Who else do you think uses roids..and I wonder how Barry Bonds eludes the drug testing and everything about him using steroids??

I have a pretty good comprehension about baseball, but there's one thing I don't understand. You often hear teams put a player on the disabled list (that's easy to understand), but then they back date the injury (which in baseball, they have the ability to back date 5 days). Why would they do that? Is it for financial reasons? I mean, during that period of time, the team was essentially short one player anyways. What are the benefits for a back date?
