Red Sox all the way.

And the Yankees won't even get the wild card due to the AL Central taking it.

If for no other reason, they are the Yankees. Boston is a fine team but even a broken clock is correct twice a day. Until the league puts a cap on player earnings, New York will be playing Baseball and not golf in the fall. They win because George does not care about making money anymore. He will put as much into the team as he wants because he does not answer to partners. You also notice that when New York wins the WS, they do it with class. Boston wins one and the fans can stop telling everyone how good they are and how they are going to win it all. Try winning more then one in a row and then you can talk smack!

No. The Red Sox are firmly in the lead in the east and will not let go at this point. The Tigers and White Sox will go into the playoffs as division winner and wild card respectively, and the west winner will complete the AL bracket. I'm sorry, but the Yankees will be left out in the cold this season.

Unstoppable Red Sox? Win the division "again"? People, does aanyone remember how the White Sox owned the Red Sox in last year's playoffs? And I thought everyone knew this, but the Yankees won the division last year, and they'll do it again this year. Red Sox fans know it to be true, but just can't admit it. So, to answer you question simply, YES.

Yes they will. They have won it every year since 1998, an I see no reason why they won't again. They are keeping pace with the Red Sox, in spite of the injuries they have had. Moose is pitching great, Wang is doing well and Wright is coming around. The Red Sox have one pitcher performing right now, Curt Schilling. The Yanks are 1 1/2 out, are kicking Chicago's butt today and have history (and money) on their side. Once Sheffield and Matsui return watch out!

Boston, Yankees have too many injuries and a serious pitching deficiency. Unless the Yankees can shore up their pitching staff they won't even make the wild card. Toronto may even pass the Yankees in the EAST...
