I think that it will be Denny Hamlin while Tony Stewart and Kyle Busch are too busy fighting each other. They are the three most likely, at least to me.

...I wasn't a Jimmie Johnson fan but after seeing his dad speak in the last race at Homestead I couldn't help but like the guy. His dad seem like a really great person and you could tell he was proud of his son.

...I'll have to admit that seeing his dad speak made me try to look for those same characteristics in Jimmie. I actually see Jimmie in a different sense from that.

...Is there anyone you were sceptical about in the past as a driver and you learned to see them in a new sense?

I don't think Mark Martin could force himself to win a race in 2008, driving the #8 car. Espescially if he was in contention with the #88 car.

I'm starting a business. I've been doing this for over a year and I am becoming very successful at it, it is an in-home pet care/housesitting service. I stay in my client's house and do pet sitting. I am trying to think of a name for my business and I am not having any luck. I love animals, of course, and I love NASCAR. I wanted to somehow include my love for all things racing in the name of the business without it sounding too weird. I've came up with Checkers or Checkered Flag, Victory Lane, etc, just to name a few. I just wanted some ideas... I also wanted it to sound somewhat sophisicated, if that is even possible, LOL. Most of my clients are wealthy and I didn't want the name to be automatically stereotyped, if you know what I mean... Any ideas are appreciated! I'm leaning towards Victory Lane... What does everyone think?

...If there is any problems with Toyota's COT in the 2008 season do you think he will speak out against the Toyota manufacturer?

...If so will it have an effect on his future with Joe Gibbs Racing?

...I just want to explore other people's opinions to add to my own. No right or wrong answer. Just your input.

Why not replace the road coarse races w/dirt track races like the prelude to the dream. I know it will not happen but it would be cool.

No qualifying No guarantee starts. Use heat races to place field (kinda like the Gatorade Duels) If the race is now 500miles, split the cars attempting to make the race into two groups (heat 1& heat 2). Each heat 125miles, the top 20 from each heat going to the main. Then have a 250mile main. Still a total of 500 miles for the viewers and it would be more interesting. All races run on the same day. TV networks can pack the commercials in between races, so we can see more racing.
Now the points issue, give the top 5 finishers in the heats points (10 for 1st and going down 2 per spot until 2 for 5th). Then give the winner of the main 50 points going down 2 points per position until 2 for 25th. No points for finishing outside the top 25 in main or top 5 in heats.
Do away with the chase.
Every car not on the lead lap within the same scoring loop (scoring loops are placed all around the track to set the field after caution and get speed intervals) as the leader, gets a lap back.

...Let the drivers take any stock American car made between 1950 and 1980 and let them build their own stock cars with engines lower than 300 c.i. and race them on a few tracks, Maybe have a race every two weeks

...Bring back the Pontiac (Trans Am), the old Mustangs, maybe the 55 Chevys, and the old Plymouth Road Runners (etc). They would have to keep the cars body shape in original non modified shape (exception would be removing lights and things that would leave debris on the track).

...How well do you think this would go over as compaired to Nascar provided the drivers were all current Nascar drivers driving their own personal choice of hotrods?
