I know that he does the IRL thing but someone told me he was now a NASCAR driver. Is that true?

Nope, he is still a IRL driver..and he won Dancing with the stars competition last night on TV... He can dance and drive..No plans for Nascar, I heard him say this one time in a interview on TV.

No he is an Indy driver with 2 Indy 500 wins and now he's the dancing with the stars champion!! Nothing to do with Nascar except he drives for Penske

Ya know------- right now he is an IRL driver, but these guys
don`t really care that much about the money,(i really doubt they would drive for free) they are all millionaires anyway
They want to race every week,, don`t be real surprised to see him there in a couple years,

Absolutely not. He's made appearances with NASCAR drivers. He has run road racing as in the Rolex 24 at Daytona too. He also owns a Brazilian stock car team.

No I dont think it is true..They probably just saw him on GMA this morning with the Nascar drivers. he was there to dance & show off & they were there bc the race for the cup is now final for this season.

not true, no. IRL drivers and former indy 500 winners sam hornish jr. and dario franchitti (ashley judds husband) are both switching to NASCAR full time in 2008, but not castroneves.

Indy and NASCAR are two different things, and Helio is an Indy driver...

I don't know a lot about racing but i do know that he is a two-time indy 500 winner and that is a nascar race isn't it? I always thought so. i've never heard of irl
