Judaism and presumably Christianity recognize the prophets Sarah (whose prophetic gift is said to have been superior to Abraham's), Miriam, Deborah, Hannah, Abigail, Huldah and Esther.

How many female prophets are recognized by Islam?

Or is it true that Muslim leaders all agree that women were never worthy of being prophets, yet men were? If so, why?

is this why they are so vexed? religion as I said is a business based on people's need to believe. they make money like any other business. god is their sales pitch. don't blame that on god.

the funny thing is that god doesn't require belief, because god is.

When the people at the airport get on their hand & knees to bless the plane? I also used to work with a guy who brought his religious mat or rug to work because he had to pray 5 times a day. Is that the same religion? Please don't leave bad comments about them, I'm just trying to become alittle more informed but respect everyone for their different beliefs. Thanks

The Dajjal isnt mentioned in the Quran but the are numerous hadiths from the prophet that tells us about him. Here is an ebook explaining the status of the Sunnah in Islam. Its very important to all muslims. The verse Surah (al an-'aam: 82)
"It is those who believe and mix not their faith with dhulm (wrong)-for them (only) is security and they are the guided ones".
The prophets companions understood dhulm according to its general sense, which includes every wrong even if it be small. This why they had a diffculty understanding the verse so they said, "oh messenger of Allah! which of us doesnt mix their faith with wrong?" so the prophet said, "it doesnt mean that, it only means shirk here. Didnt you hear Luqman say (surah Luqman, 13)
"verily shirk is a great"
Reported by sahih al bukhari, muslim and others.
Here is the rest of the book.

My character's mother has just died in her arms. Her mother was very religious so she goes to her mother's church. Would a priest find it offensive for my character to put her mother's blood in holy water?

I'm trying to get the right affect here, but I am not a religious person, so I do not know.

I'm not going to say whether or not I want the priest to be offended...but your answers would REALLY help!

Oh and thanks for giving me something to post on FSTDT.com!

I'm not confused, atheist guy. God exists. He just doesn't bring presents to people, or take things away, or send plagues, and so on. I can't explain it, it's just natural.

Is it true that only the righteous are juged when we stand before the throne. To give an account of what we did in this life, good or bad.Kinda sorting out how big your reward is.
Is it true that the lost have pronouncement judged on them now in this life and reap there rewards at the end of this life?
In a sence if we are juged in the last day, are we not liveing in the last days. Are we not liveing and accounting for our lives now?
It just seems to me when we die we just recieve pronouncement.

God by the very nature of God exists. To disprove God, one must end communication, because the word God is the only proof that is logically necessary to argue for God's existence. The word is God and God is the word. So, by believing in disbelief they proove that they acknowledge language whis is logically proving that they, in fact, believe (all though they claim not to) in God.

Is there anybody else who feels an absolute joy and sense wonder and fulfillment when learning about the true scientific reasons for the how the universe and everything that is in it came to be ?

Do you feel an immense sense of wonder and amazement when you contemplate the sky at night and marvel at all we have learnt about our orgins and existance and all that there is still to know ?

Finally do you think that this joy and wonder is far superior to simply accepting ancient dogmatic myths as a way of explaining the world around us
