Because some people are prejudiced, and won't accept other religions could have existed before judaism came about.

The definition of religion is system of social coherence based on a common group of beliefs and theological system. Hinduism differs from Judaism in that it does not have a single founder, a specific theological system, a single system of morality, or a central religious organization.
"Pagan" is the translation of the term mushrik, which refers to 'one who worships something other than The God of Abraham'. Just the referring to "God of Abraham" shows us that Paganism came after Abraham, ie..Judaism, says it all.

Who could possibly say that? Judaism started with Abraham, and there were religions documented in the Bible before Abraham.

I think maybe because the bible is supposed to start with the beginning of humans. I believe the first organized version of religion that still survives today is Hinduism. I believe in Hinduism you can believe in many gods, one god, or no god at all.

When going back 5,000 years it is really impossible to know which one came first. You have a good point - they are all very, very ancient religions.
