The Dajjal isnt mentioned in the Quran but the are numerous hadiths from the prophet that tells us about him. Here is an ebook explaining the status of the Sunnah in Islam. Its very important to all muslims. The verse Surah (al an-'aam: 82)
"It is those who believe and mix not their faith with dhulm (wrong)-for them (only) is security and they are the guided ones".
The prophets companions understood dhulm according to its general sense, which includes every wrong even if it be small. This why they had a diffculty understanding the verse so they said, "oh messenger of Allah! which of us doesnt mix their faith with wrong?" so the prophet said, "it doesnt mean that, it only means shirk here. Didnt you hear Luqman say (surah Luqman, 13)
"verily shirk is a great"
Reported by sahih al bukhari, muslim and others.
Here is the rest of the book.

I forgot to include the word dhulm. Luqman said verily shirk is a great dhulm.

That is a good question. I try my hardest to follow both the Quran and Sunnah. I do not understand why some muslims do not follow the Sunnah, we should all try to be like the best man that ever walked the face of the earth.
Maybe some people think it is too hard to follow both. Like at the masjid here, on friday jummah the gentlemen who does the khutbah says follow the sunnah, all while he is wearing a suit and does not have a beard, and one time he said it was okay to use interest, because we are to reform Islam to the society we live in. I have not been back to that masjid. And Allah knows best.

I wonder how those people pray...after all, the methods of prayers were shown in the Sunnah, not in the Qur'an.

Aisha was asked to describe the Prophet and she said, "He's a walking Quran".
