Assume you have one year's time to do it. When the year expires, you're not given this chance for the rest of your life.

A quick question for everyone:

"A good person is a good person regardless of his or her religious beliefs. A bad person is a bad person regardless of his or her religious beliefs": True or False?

Just curious.

It always seems to occur that way. Someone that is in their early 40's dying. Perhaps they proved themselves to God and their time on Earth is finished? I do understand that just because you live a long and healthy life doesn't make you a bad person. So, do you believe the good die young? You would think God would want to keep them on Earth as a positive role model to everyone...

For those of you who don't know him, he's like a magician/illusionist, but very EXTREME with it! He can do things that no other magician/illusionist could ever dream of. Once, he elevated himself, he's walken up the side of a building, and he tapped a girl on the shoulder using her shadow on the wall (and she felt it). That just names a few!!

Why should it be taught in public schools, there are schools who teach it, those schools are religious schools such as christian schools, catholic schools and so on. With having these private schools, why do people still insist on trying to get the bible to be taught in school?

I know that many people have different views on whether or not CCM is wrong. I just want opinions from everyone - atheists, Christians, etc. In your answer, please include why you think CCM is okay or not, and I would appreciate it if you put if you're a Christian, atheist, Muslim, wiccan, etc., but if you're uncomfortable doing that then that's okay. Thank you for your time :).

Do you think many of our beliefs were fed to us at a young age and because of this, we deem this as truth even if it's illogical on a grand scale?
If my truth is different than yours and yours is different than mine, does it make it wrong? Or does it mean that everyone's truth is different and we should respect it?

All Islamic laws (Sharia) set the punishment for people who convert from Islam to be KILLED. They base this punishment on a prophetical statement told by prophet Muhammed to KILL anyone who convert from Islam [Bukhary:6411; Ibn Maga:2526; Tarmazy:1378; Musnad Ahmad:21007; Nasai'ie:3993...etc.]. They also base this HORRIBLE punishment on a verse from Quran [9:29] that orders Muslims to fight Jews and Christians until they submit to Isam or pay Jazya without raising a finger!

My question is why should god protect his religion by killings? had Islam came with wonderful logical teachings, why should Muslims be much worried about people who convert from Islam?

My version of Hell is going to Heaven with all the fundimentalist Christians. Anything else conceivable would be better--fire and brimstone, eternal lonliness and separation from God, etc. Does that mean (God forbid) that I am damned to an eternity in Heaven?
