I'm sure this was the case in other eras too, but I've often seen married 1950's couples shown this way. For example, in the movies "Pleasantville" and "A Christmas Story". Why didn't a husband and wife sleep in the same bed?

i know u can work at anyfast food joint/babysitting/housework at this age, but whatelse? and the texas age for working i beleive is 14years old. it would be great if you had store names, but if not thats ok i just need ideas.

Are all racist forms of media. How would they feel about the National Association of the advancement of white people? RACISM I scream racism in the name of da lord!! White Entertainment Television? I've always been really pale (almost white) and I was fine with it, until recently a stranger came up to me in the street and said "Where's the coffin?" and I didn't get it at first (LOL) but I don't blame them as I have dark hair which probably makes me look like a vampire :/
I'm worried as it is summer everyone will be tanned and I'll just look like a ghost!

I don't tan easily either so I don't really know how to go about it.
What do you think? Pale or tanned? Please help ^^

If you were to ask around.."Are you okay with people being gay?" Most males answer "well if it's two chicks then hell yeah, but dudes, hell no." I've actually had quite a few straight females say the same thing.

And it seems it's more acceptable for females to be bisexual than males.

I just don't understand what the big deal is. Is it the whole "male masculinity" thing or what?

In Kansas traffic circles are starting to pop up all over the place and I hear nothing but complaints about them. I have even seen a multitude of complaints on here in discussions about England. If Americans would learn to use them, ie use turn signals to exit, then I think they would appreciate them.

Think about it, a four way stop means you have to come to a complete stop. This means that any momentum you build up is completely lost. With a traffic circle you can immediately enter if you time it correctly and exit without ever stopping. On some traffic circles I can do it without ever braking.

Brakes only waste gas. When you use your brakes you are wasting gas. A traffic circle is a gas saver.

I started in Sept. the co-worker started in January same title in the same office only difference between us both is that she is Caucasian and I am American African descent. Some people say that people who are gay choose to be gay. People who are gay say they are born that way.

So when straight people say it is a choice to be gay, isn't it also a choice to be straight? Or if you were born straight then how is it a 'choice' for a person to be gay? How can one ideology be fine for one particular group but not the other? We either all choose to be of a certain orientation or we are all born a certain way.

I know people will say, well we are all born hetero and the people who are gay choose to be but that doesn't work for me. Why would someone 'choose' anything in life that's gets them so much ridicule?

Use the bible if you must but I want you to really use your own brain on this one. If you are wondering, yes, I am a herterosexual Christian. I believe gays are wonderful people and are not doomed to hell.

Man (25 years old) thinks that the landlord sends a "reminder" in the mail each month when rent is due,absurd?

His first time living on his own, with girlfriend, he says to her, "How am I supposed to know when the rent is due, doesn't the landlord send you a reminder every month?" She pays rent every month and has to ask him 3 times the week it is due.
