Why?

It's not big, clever, funny, empowering or sexy.

So why do girls swear so much these days.

And yes you are now worse than the boys.

Yes I can see that as true, females swearing much more than males these days. But in general and as a whole, we swear much more than we used to. A movie is rated "R" for language when the word f*** is said more than once. "R" movies are restricted for people 17 and older.

I dont know about everyone else but I don't need the movies anymore to get a cuss-fix. Everytime I walk down the street I'll hear f*** not once but several times over. So regardless of who's saying it male/female, its being said. And therin we have turned 21st Century Society into an "R" rated movie with a good percentage of the population under 17 and forced to watch it.

I think that you will find the majority of girls which do swear like this are normally chavs, well chavettes.
I have to say occasionally i do swear but only when I am angry or annoyed.
Why is it that boys find swearing so repulsive in girls, when I'm sure tha majority of girls feel this way about you.
Many girls swear todays because the lines between males and females have become blurred, I mean many girls now act a lot more "blokey" so I assume they just find it ok to swear, think about it girls never used to swear in the past, they also didn't drink as much alcohol, work, wear trousers, do DIY, all of those factors have changed I think we just have to deal with the changes.

We are human. Nowadays woman lead a more stressful life than back in the day between school, family, work and all other responsibilities. Sorry but sometimes we just got to curse like everyone else.

Why does ANYONE "swear"?

And why should I care?

People say whatever they want to say. It doesn't bother me a bit. Why should it? Someone else's vocabulary isn't going to change my life one way or the other.

And no, "swearing" isn't worse when females do it. People are people regardless of gender.

Thanks for perpetuating sexist double standards. (I'm being sarcastic.)

Yeah some do don't they. i think maybe its because they've not got much to say but they're trying to convey a lot of emotion in it to appear they've got a story.

'went down the effing shop like and you know who i met, only effing Sandra, effing Sandra!, cant stand Sandra the ff'
