The majority of the homeless people I see on the streets have all their limbs, and are literate as they can write out their signs asking for money. Also, the majority are white (Caucasian). I see migrate workers coming not knowing english and are able to find jobs relatively quickly. I cant imagine someone NOT having friends or family to help you out in need until you got back on your feet. there are always some jobs they can do, manual jobs or something of the sort. why dont they do anything else for money rather than begging?

I'm straight edge and I was just wondering what other people thought of people who are straight edge.

for those who don't know straight edge means no drinking, no drugs (including prescription medications and illegal drugs) , no smoking, and no permiscuous sex.

Grammatically incorrect maybe, but not racist by any means. Nobody should get fired/suspended from their work (as a CBA basketball player was recently) for simply stating a fact. I'm sure if a jew was quoted for saying "I've got a bigshot black lawyer/teacher etc. working for me" would not have the same done to them.

Do you think it's true that we don't make sense. Example:

-When we say we like honesty and when the guys are honest, we get mad.

-When we ask guys questions and if they tell the truth, we get mad, and if we lie, we get mad.
Ex. when a girl ask a guy "does this make me look fat", either way we get mad.

-When a women wants a man to be something else, and won't agree with it, we get mad.

I don't do these things but I tend to notice these things and when a women is being these examples, I say "what is wrong with them!!"

I'm I the only female that thinks this way and guys, what is your opinion on it?

The 1993 film Dazed and Confused is a high school story set in 1976. Later in the movie one of the characters explains her 'every other decade theory'. Being a 70's character she says that the 70's sucked and maybe the 80's will be cool. Since the 60's were "awesome" and the 50's were bland, this is her theory.
Do other people see this as being true. Is each decade just a rebellion against the decade before? Are there similarities between the 60's, 80's and 2000's and between the 50's, 70's, and 90's?

Where would you live?

I'm one of the most patriotic Americans out there. I love this country and it's what keeps me from going anywhere. But, although I'm not even Jewish, I have always dreamed of living in Israel. I keep on passing on opportunities to do so and look back with a little regret.

What about you? Is my experience unusual or have you felt the same things?

In the news today is an astounding article: "Rolling Stones rocker Keith Richards admits to a British music magazine that he snorted his father's ashes mixed with cocaine."

What is the wordt thing you have ever done? Nobody knows who you are, so be honest.

In this country the better employment oppertunities is taken over seas because of cost benefits especially on the grass roots level. The people in congress do not have to be concerned with financial matters to the extent grass roots people have to contend with why don't they do a inteligent study of what it is really like to live on the grass roots level then make some intelligent informed decisions.

But now the people around me are trying to put the bottle back toghether and I'm trying to tell them i don't wantto go back into the bottle that I like the freedom but they would feel safer if I were in the bottle.

As we get older (men and women) signs of aging surface. If you're a women, what do women look for in a male that is appealing as they age?

If you're a male, what is most appealing to you in a woman as she begins to age? What is viewed as sexy, sensual, romantic, appealing, attractive, etc.?

This question is primarily for those between 40-90. But if you're older or younger, take a stab at it too. Please refrain from insulting and bigoted comments.
