I asked this question last year, but I never got a decent response, so here it goes again...

What moron decided to drop the "H" & why do certain people believe that they sound so intelligent when they do?!!!
Let me explain...
-This is a new phenomenon. I would say that the trend caught on a few years ago.-
I used to hear this more frequently on AM radio & news broadcasts/documentaries,etc., but now it's everywhere!
EXAMPLES:
When people are talking, they will say "youge" instead of huge, "youman" instead of human, etc.
It sounds so stupid!!! People have been pronouncing the H for a long time & now they're not.

What's up with that & who decided to change the rules?

I'm 15 and I am 75 percent caucasian and 15 percent African American. I see a lot of racisim. A lot of the white people that are in this neiborhood [there are not a lot] are racist but they have to stay because they have no money. I also see a lot of African Americans that are racist. I feel that I should stick up for all races, but my problem is, I do it in a bad way. I end up screaming and acting a fool since it angers me so much. Is there a law that states that I can not do anything about racisim?? What can I do about racisim?? Also, is it right for me to stick up for all races, regaurdless if its my own race?? Im very curious... thanks

All the News network channels keep having stories about Global warming. They try to scare us as if we are the ones doing global warming. But the people in power, the people making society move...are the ones with more power to change global issues. And guess what that LOU DOBBS, or whoever is in CNN, NBC, MSNBC, or whatever,,.. is probably driving a car thus adding to the pollution.. then he has the nerve to tell us to stop....
The media news channels are taking advantage of all the things that make pollution: Gas, Electricity, they buy coke and fast food, smoking, etc, etc.

So Friday night (the night of my 21st birthday) about 9 I start to head over to my friends bc we were gonna hang out. I was at the stop light for to turn onto a major street bc I had to goto my bank so thats the way I was leaving... well the light turns green and I take my foot off the brake and look down real quick at something and i look up and the guy in front of me is braking so I start braking but its wet and I was too close and rearended him... There is NO damage to either car, not even paint transfer and I didnt even hit him hard enough to make him move forward, just spring forward and then back... so i asked him what he wanted to do (call the cops, etc) and he said no so I suggested we change info. I called him saturday after noon to make sure everything was ok (left a mess) he called back less than an hour later saying the car and everyone was except that a few ppl in the back seat had some headaches.... so I apologized again and said if anything further showed up to just give

If you really think these people are joking then you are in fact an idiot. As long as we are in iraq we are keeping them busy. A person who was told that they would never achieve anything of value. This person was spat upon, laughed at and told by ever teacher; every person of authority that he would totally end up as a complete loser. This person through his stumbling through life ended up becoming an associate of science. Conducting experiments for a major biotech company and achieving exceeds for the past 21 years during every review.

This person has no self esteem but continues to try against all odds. This person hates himself but still continues to move forward because he feels he has no choice.

Is this an example of the indomitable spirit of humans or what?

BTW this person is black., and with that said. Why does humanity as a whole say we have no fight in us; we have no intelligence, nor are we worth anything of value?

why do so many women dye their hair to blond? Do people really think blond hair is better? a lot of girls always say they are real blondes but i can see their dark roots. When i start speaking i make mistake and use wrong word though i feel those are incorrect. What do u think in this issue if it is my habit i get from sub-conscious mind? I talk to others in english everyday but i'm still poor making sentences accurately. How can i improve speaking skill? And for listening, i try listening to music , movies very attentively; but as a matter of fact, i keep my atention entirely listening not for comprehensing. People keep asking why there isn't a white history month. Well perhaps that's because white history is taught, celebrated, and praised every day. As an African American I can't tell you how many papers I have had to write on white writers, poets, and historians over my collegiate career. Its refreshing to study the accomplishments of my ancestors as well as those of other minorites ONE month out of the year. If black history as well as other minority histories were taught in conjunction with (white) history then there wouldn't be a need for a black history month. Do you now understand why there isn't a WHM?. White history is commemorated everyday.
