I want to know what are some good small habits to form in order to save big money say at the end of the year?
I have a feeling that i'm wasting very small amounts of money here and there because i dont realize something and at the end of the year it adds to a huge sum.
Don't tell me something like "go eat macdonald's hamburger meal 3 times a day" but tell me something like a win/win situation like "not only can you get this, but you can also save money at the end"...
please share your ideas.

Thankyou!

Do you think you can meet people who are mentals and are not total rejects ?

I think it seems for me the best way of meeting someone because I am no longer in university and I do not attend church. I think the women at work are not somebody I would like to be involved on a personal level and my experience with clubs has been mostlly negative, since many who you find in there are selfish people who are just using people for drugs.

Remember your Ps & Qs is what we are told when we grow up! But now is it just lip-service? All our warnings say 'Please this' and 'Please that' (eg. Please don't put your feet on the chairs) but many don't even pay attention. We seem to say please and thank you for everything - even when ppl tread on our toes!

A bit OTT?? I mean, I HATE bad manners but are we just too extreme??

I seriously feel like I was born in the wrong time period, and racially I don’t fit in anywhere. I was raised in a conservative microcosm thinking it reflected the rest of the country. But when I have to face the “real world”, it’s so scary and I get misunderstood and judged. I grew up in a small Texan town. Culturally, me, my family and local friends identify more with blacks of the past than modern blacks. Let me explain this: I am a social conservative and a Christian, just like blacks of the 1940s. I talk “black” but write proper English, just like blacks of the 1940s. I have a strong work ethic, just like blacks of the 1940s. Me or no one else in my family would dream of having sex and children out of wedlock, just like blacks of the 1940s. The illegitimacy rate used to 15-20%, today it’s a whopping 70%. And for awhile I grew up thinking that nuclear families and premarital chastity we were still the norm, so when I visited bigger cities and other parts of the country, you can bet I was in for a shock. I still am culturally black- I talk black (I don’t write black but I talk black), I like black music, literature, and food- I’m just not “ghetto”. I like old school jazz, swing, and soul and prefer old black movies because they have more dignity and aren’t minstrel shows like rap is. Blacks from other parts of the country and even whites judge me and label me an oreo because I don’t conform to the modern ideal of what it is to be black. It seems that so many people these days think that being black is synonymous with being degenerate and not liking anything else other than hip-hop, Def Jam, and Baby Phat. It just stuns me how so many black people today could actually think this- thinking so little of themselves and being so ignorant of their own culture and heritage. So many people can’t process the concept that I am proud to be black without liking hip-hop or being pleased with the moral decline and absurd separatist trends in modern black America. I am proud to be black, but I am proud of my real heritage and culture as it was in the past, not what it has become and how our roots have been lost. I also like to identify with my people of the past and imitate the way people in the old movies talked. I like saying “brother” instead of “n*gga”, “zoot” instead of “of tha hook” and “*****” instead of “African-American”, because ***** isn’t even a bad word- we used to call it to each other all the time and white people back then used the word “*****” to be polite, it was like saying “African-American”. So when I use the word ***** I use it because I associate it with positive feelings of the past not because I’m a self-hater. I also think I can make jokes about my people without being called a self-hater either. Blacks call me an Uncle Tom and whites call me an oreo even though I’m actually proud of my culture, just not in the way they think I should be. People think I plagiarize on my essays just because I write formal English and write so much differently than I talk, it’s like I’m bilingual. So anyway, I’m kind of out of touch with reality but why should I return to reality when it’s so bad?

I am so tired of the racially motivated questions on Yahoo Answers that are filled with ignorant answers from people who obviously have not done research. Why is it that people who are not African American feel that they can psycho-analayze the black race? Why is racism in this country referred to as something that ended 200 years ago with the end of slavery when the Civil Rights movement occured in the 50's-60's? My mother fought segregation in schools and was involved in sit-ins to gain equal rights. So why do people continue to refer to these injustices as ending so long ago? Just last year one of my friends was picked up in my neighborhood (an upper middle class neighborhood) and told to get his "black a** out of the neighborhood and that he didn't belong" by a police officer. So before my "race" is accused of whining about what was committed by the long gone ancestors of Caucasians in this country, to our ancestors in this country... do research first. Search Emmett Till.

I do. I talk very southern and "black" and write "white" with not a single hint of southern dialect. I've been accused of plagarism on essays because I write so much differently than I talk. I don't understand why it's so strange to write differently than you talk. I always thought I should write differently than I speak. It gets pretty annoying after awhile. Somedays I laugh at it and other days I break down and cry.

I saw a documentary on TV the other day about people who join nudist clubs including young children. I understand that some people do this for the enjoyment, but there are also perverted people who join. Do you think it is wrong of parents to bring children to nudist clubs where there could quite possibly be perverts. I think parents who do this must be a bit mentally unstable because why would you put your children at this risk. I think people who join nudist clubs in general are a bit "not quite there". what do you think?
