I know a lot of people who are nudists. After going to these nudist outings a few times, they view a nude body as something natural, mundane & non-erotic.
Example: The men see so many nude women that on seeing another nude woman they dont get sexually aroused or get a hard-on. Likewise, women dont get sexually excited on seeing a man's penis.
In a way it is like animals in the wild, they see each other naked all the time , but dont get excited only by mere nudity. It is only in season or during the actual sex act that they are aroused.
I guess people who are nudist's may not even surf porn as they are so used to seing nude bodies of either gender.
In a way I find that sad, that one does not get sexually aroused just by seeing nudity. In another sense, they have a more natural outlook towards nudity.
Regd children & nudity, in my personal opinion, I think children between the ages of 6 to 18 years are vulnerable. By the age of 5 or 6 years children start becoming aware of their sexuality & are curious. This is dangerous and all kids will experiment. We have all played doctor-doctor & only our sense of guilt prevented us from trying something serious. Parents should be supportive and also aware that all children are open to the risk of sexual exploitation. It is the duty of parents to provide a protective environment for their children and maybe a nudist camp is not such an environment.
After reaching 18 kids are no longer kids and are young adults. Somewhere between 18 and 21 years parents need to allow their children their own freedom.

Years ago, I went to a section of Zuma Beach (in California) that was for nudes. There were children, adults, the elderly, etc. It was surprising (never seen nudists before), and beautiful in a way. We realized our mistake, but stayed. It was kinda nice. Took off our clothes and everything.
Parents who are nudists are also nudists around the house. So the kids are used to it. I'm hopeful they watch their kids in public nudity places.

Children should not be exposed to this type of thing. As for nudity, well, it has a long tradition in art, though these days you won't see a lush nude on a nice bed, but a streak of black ink on cheap manilla paper, no frame, for $600...

I think most of the people who join nudist colonies are people no one wants to see naked.
*Edit* Also, I see nothing wrong with nudity. If you accept the gods created all of us, who are we to express contempt for their creation?

No. there are people who like being free, natural and with nature. They are not necessarily perverted. In fact, I hear, they are less rude and less curious or perverted about other nude people in such clubs.

I'd like to join one. I'm willing to go nude just to see a few nudes. But I wouldn't have my children join, that would be up to them as soon as they're old enough.

have you ever seen the type of people that go to those camps?
nothing but hippies and nature freaks with the occasional pervert.
I am sure those perverts are weeded out pretty quick though.. they wouldn't fit in with the traditional hippie clique.
