Wow are you at the airport or just at the Dublin Westin again?
Don't worry My Darcy I popped down to Starbucks along the river Thames yesterday just after visiting the Tate Modern (no honestly that's all true- I'm not joking) and paid £3 for a cappuccino which had about one small shot of coffee and the rest of the grande cup was foam! I wasn't a very happy bunny! I took it back to the counter and stuck my finger it in to demonstrate that even with my finger stuck in the foam it still didn't reach any coffee and made them give me another one!
Tally don't rip me off ho!

That better have been the BEST coffee and scone you ever had...

I prefer what we call the MOAC (Mother Of All Coffees); four shots of espresso with two shots of dark chocolate syrup and 16 ounces of regular coffee poured into it topped with steamed milk.

Throw on a Fudge Brownie and I am **Zinging** all day long..!!!

In my country, thats about K1600 for coffee and K1100 for the scone. Thats extremely ridiculous pricing

I always find out the price before I buy and if I am told a very dear price I let them know it and go elsewhere for a more realistic price. Don't be embarrassed by asking the price - after all they are not embarrassed. Rotten chancers the lot of them. You have my backing!!

Isn't it nice :). And € 3.60 for a 5 km bus ride where I live.

For the one who asked: I get the "€" by pressing Alt Gr+E.

OMG, where are you, Paris?!? You did get ripped-off.

Here in Croatia a cappucino will set you back about 1 euro, and a jam filled doughnut about 0.60 euro cents. (Unfortunately we dont have scones!)

Did they force you to buy in their shop? Were you being held at gunpoint or something? Or, as is more likely, did you go in there of your own freewill, choose two items you fancied and make the conscious decision to pay for them?
I can't understand why you are complaining.

Yes it is a ripoff.

How do you get that Euro sign? I have been looking everywhere for it!

Holly cow! That's nasty. I would launch a campaign against that place and let everyone know who they are for charging so much. Go on, tell us!
