my mum told me that.. and to a certain extent i see that 'dent' in married women more than those who arent. but is it really true scientifically?

Absolutely not! That is a myth and does not count scientifically. Some people even believe that a girl whose hymen is intact is a virgin and vice versa. It has been proved that there are women who have had sexual intercourse and have their hymen intact. There are very many girls who have never had any sexual intercourse and have their hymen ruptured. Virginity should be explained in terms of practice. A woman who has never had any penetrative sexual intercourse should be considered a true virgin and vice versa. The term virginity can also be misleading as there are some school of thought that contends that a woman or man (for that matter) who is a virgin is one who has not had any sexual relationship and has not corrupted her/his mind with sexual obscenities before marriage. These are all controversial thoughts that makes the topic even more contentious.
In short 'dent' below the neck is a myth and does not correspond to any scientific law.

I'm sorry to be so frank, but a 'dent' below the neckline cannot be construed as a sign of virginity.

Dent in the neck????? Huh!!!!!! Virginity has to do with the hyman which is in a completely different part of the body. So, I guess one has nothing to do with the other.
