Ok, I'm so confused. I love this guy so much. we're now engaged. but i realize after my engagement that my parents don't aprove of him because he's not from the same level of "class" as me. i dunno how to say it, but they say he's poor, his parents aren't educated like them ect...
I'm Egyptian so this is how most poeple in my culture think. i dunno if this is stupid or if they're right. they agree that he's a nice gentleman but yet they think he doesn't match me because of those differences. they always say that love will end after marriage so i should always look for rich and educated men. I can't leave him because i love him so much and he loves me. should I listen to my parents? or stay with him?

Was out tonight at a gay club the day before my 26th Birthday and was waiting on my own for a couple of my friends to arrive. Went to the toilet, came back to where I was sitting and was informed by the bouncer that apparently I'd been seen taking drugs in the bogs and would I leave the club? i've never taken drugs in my life - all i was doing was applying some vaseline (to my lips!). they searched me, obviously found nothing on me and said i could go back in the club, but i was so pissed off i went home - and what's especially annoying is that some of my mates were off their heads on god knows what and they're still quite happily there having a good night and i'm back at home on bloody answers! not quite sure what the question is here, but had to get it off my chest! wouldn't you be pissed off?! what should I do? (if anything?!)

Just because I think white people should date white people? I have nothing against other races but I think its just natural to love being around your own race. I think we just mesh better and share more similarities then we would dating non-white people, plus I’ve always wanted to settle down with a white partner and start a nice beautiful white family with adorable white children. Although I must say I don’t have a problem with Caucasians and Caucasian people of Latin/Hispanic descent integrating. I see a lot of Cubans in Florida who share a lot of similarities with Caucasians.

my in-laws and I don't exactly love each other. So I don't see any point in being around them at Christmas to just pretend everything is so great. Then when it's all over, they will treat me like they always do, like I'm dirt under their feet. Would you subject yourself to the misery? My husband refuses to see it.

I was doing a internet research on Jim Jones and his people's temple. Now I've seen documentries and seen the survivors of the tragic Jonestown mass murderder/suicide so I just wanted to see what the web had to offer. Now my question refers to how many whack jobs out there I found where in favor of Jim Jones, that he was a good man and that the US govt killed those 900 people not Jimmy jones and other absurd conspiracy theories!
I mean are people this warped to close their minds to the obvious? Are people so hard up for conspiracy theories even in the blatant light of facts and truth? survivors gave sworn testimony to the brutal treatment of Jones and the way people couldnt escape jonestown. So why do you think people want to cling to some whack theory in light of truth and make a evil cruel tyrant a good man?

I was in a hotel room with my family sleeping one night, in Austin, TX. I was lying on my stomach, when I looked towards the balcony. I noticed the curtain was pulled back a bit. I thought it was my mom, so when I started to ask what she was doing up...I felt it. This heavy pressure pushed me down into the bed. This pressure was holding me down on the bed. It was so strong that my ears popped and the air was knocked out of me. I started to panic because I couldnt breath. I tried to call out to my mom, but all I could hear was me groaning. My mom, who was lying in bed next to me, heard me and started calling out my name. Just as she touched me, the pressure went away and it was gone, instantly. I told my mom that something had just happened and she said she felt it. She felt a breeze glide over her arm towards me. This completely freaked me out. COMPLETELY. Has anyone ever experienced something like this before?

I just posted another question bout my mom but this just came to mind to ask here. When I was bout 8 or so I lived in Queens NY a friend of mine and I were just messing about in a graveyard (it was on the way home) we found this thing wrapped in cloth we brought it home and started unwrapping it inside was a coconut shell inside that was a little tiny plastic baby doll with pins in it. My friend was panamanian and his mom freaked out and made us throw it out, I wanted to fix it back and put it back but it got tossed. Did I break spell? what did that mean voodoo? Im kinda thinking that I might have cursed myself I dont belive in that stuff was just curious what the thing was.?
