Why do I dislike gay people so much?

Okay this is crazy, I am gay, but I can't stand gay men. They annoy me.

I understand what you mean. I am kinda like that. I am a "lesbian," for instance, and don't give a rat's a** about "gay pride" parades or things like that, in general. People think I am nuts for that, but I don't. Pride parades annoy the hell out of me.

I think your having to like gay guys because you are one is a stupid and simplistic way to look at this type of thing (I know you didn't say this, but most of society believes this about "gay" people). I also think this is a problem that comes from labeling people. I like to believe I defy labels. So do you.

for the same reason that guys annoy me I guess. We're too picky and no one is as perfect as we are!!! :-D

I think it has to do with bad feelings one has about being gay. Old feelings of shame from what we were taught growing up makes us feel bad about ourselves and "gay" behavior. When we see other guys exhibiting that behavior we were taught was bad, we project those negative thoughts onto them. Maybe it helps distancing yourself from that behavior or maybe its a little bit of jealousy that those annoying guys are living their lives as they want without any concern of those old stereotypes or self loathing. I struggle with this, these are my thought on why I feel that way sometimes.

try to find gay people that aren't as girly, but if u like girly, find ones that are more girly.....
