I feel terrible for what African Americans endured during the civil rights movement and times of Jim Crowe Laws, but honestly how is it fair that caucasian people have to endure the declines from colleges and universities because we are white and a minority has to be legally accepted into universities before the white people if the SAT score and GPA are the same. I do not find this fair. I work just as hard. When I apply to graduate school, I'm putting other on my application, because my ancestors are from Portugal. I'm tired of being discriminated because of being "White". Seriously, affirmative action is racist, unjust and adding more fuel to the fire. Does anyone agree with me?

I find it easier to get my point across uninterupted on paper. I just have a hard time saying what I want to say in person.

Someone recently wrote this in an answer: "A man did a documentary trying to find every nationality in the world, all in the city of New York. Isnt that amazing, that theres so many cultures and nationality in one city!" - yes, it's amazing, if it's true. Did someone attempt this? If so, did they succeed? If so, when? And where can I find the documentary? Thanks!

Instead of the Great British 'alterations to the planet' that we are led to think, we'd appreciate being on a planet if we didn't alter the clocks.
There ought to be an accumulating movement that resists it. I think us Brits need a different kind of jolt anyway, rather than the wars that we are pestered by all our lives. (yes I know things are nmuch worse for some)

my mom and dad just got divorced earlier this year after a 25 year marriage. My mom just got a new boyfriend. I really like him and I thought that because I was an adult, that I would not have a hard time accepting this major change in my family. But, my mom and I are really close like best friends and I feel mad at her when she is with her boyfriend and I want her to be happy, but it just feels weird. I feel kinda stupid feeling the way that I do since I am an adult, but I can't help it. Is this normal?

I mean even some of the people asking questions give you a smart *** comeback after they ask you for your opinion. You give your opinion and they snap back with an attitude. Well don't ask me for my freaking opinion if you really don't want it. I even agreed with someone earlier and got a smart *** reply! What the hell is wrong with people these days? Geez!

But if you wear something you think they might like why do they still make fun of you? Everytime I wear something, whether it's in my hair or clothes, I'm always getting joked about, when I'm being myself.

Would you risk death to rid your community of a crime problem? Is this man crazy, brave or messing where he doesn't belong? How does a neightborhood get to the point where it's acceptable to steal a car to go to the movies? Suggested solutions, long-term and short-term?

Is half the fun really in the journey or is the whole point to just get there as fast as you can? How will you know when you have arrived?
I see some people here seem to want to get to level 6 as fast as possible. I get sidetracked by surfing to peoples 360 pages when I like their answers.
What is the point of these pointless points?
How much time do you spend here each week?
For me I guess it is between 7-12 hours, but that is just a guess.
I enjoy reading the things people post about themselves and prefer people who have 360 pages.
