But if you wear something you think they might like why do they still make fun of you? Everytime I wear something, whether it's in my hair or clothes, I'm always getting joked about, when I'm being myself.

Some people can only feel good about themselves by targeting others. Unfortunately, these people have an overdeveloped sixth sense about who to target - they can sense insecurity or those with a sincere desire to fit in.

Don't try to impress anyone. There's simply no need. Be happy with who you are. There's a difference between constructive criticism and sheer bullying. Bullies are cowards - they hope that no one notices that the color they're wearing makes them look a bit yellow, so they call someone else out and say that the victim's butt looks big.

They're selfish, pathetic and scared poopless that other people will find out they're not even close to being wonderful. Pity them. Be yourself ;)

I remember when I was in 7th grade I wore this jean skirt and jacket outfit with the holes in it. People who are about 30 or so may remember this trend. Well, anyway, I was the first person in my school to ever wear anything like that and I got ripped for it. The next year EVERYONE was wearing it.

I assume you are in middle school, right? Kids can be jerks. Don't let it get to you but don't let them take advantage of you. Pick your fights but definitely don't just sit back and take it. The only way it will stop is when you stand up for yourself.

I remember, all too well, how you feel right now. Just keep being yourself. There is someone is your school that is looking up to you for being yourself. A few months back I get a friend request from someone that was a couple years younger then me in HS who I never knew, but knew me from chorus. She told me that she always looked up to me because I was always myself and never let anyone change me. It was the sweetest thing I had heard from a stranger ever.

Sorry to hear that you are going through that, but the best defense is self confindence.

If you are sure of yourself, you can gain respect because you will be respecting yourself, but if you appear weak and needing of other people's approval, you will get eaten alive I have learned.

Be friendly towards others, but be firm and don't take no crap and BE YOURSELF no matter what others say.
