Instead of the Great British 'alterations to the planet' that we are led to think, we'd appreciate being on a planet if we didn't alter the clocks.
There ought to be an accumulating movement that resists it. I think us Brits need a different kind of jolt anyway, rather than the wars that we are pestered by all our lives. (yes I know things are nmuch worse for some)

Only someone who thinks of spirits as serious, could find discussion of reality a bit beyond them.

I'm not sure if the twice annual changing of the clocks is man's greates alteration of the planet he lives on. Heck, in most cities, even the plants are man-made (bred & planted).

But I agree that, unless we have great benefit from it, we should either leave our clocks on winter time or on summer time, and not have to change it as often (and be greatful for all the things we have).

(and in case you were trying to express an opposing view to that ,then :o (tongue out) to you)

Only if you want to be fired for turning up to work an hour late and using the excuse "It's a new way of timekeeping, Boss." as an honest excuse...

You can live your life to whatever timescale you want. If you want to watch TV, go shopping or use public transport, you'll have to join the real world.
