My brother in laws ex-girlfriend used to be a good friend of mine. And she did something dispicable and we got into a fight and at the time I was pregnant and she said that she hoped that my baby would die. I have not talked to her since and my brother in law and her broke up. Well, my b-in-l and her started talking again and she said that she wanted to come over here and talk to me. I told my husband no. He started attacking my christianity. I said that I have forgiven her but that does not mean that I have to see her. Basically I don't trust her. He ignored anything that I said and he allowed her to come over and basically FORCED her on me. ( she at one time tried to seduce my husband). The whole thing was uncomfortable for me and she was acting like a condescending b...... He completely disrespected me and I am very upset and I tried to explain to him the way that I felt and he just acts like he does not understand at all! So what can I do?

People go nuts for celebrities, they get sad when they are sad, or mad when someone talks bad about them..

As for me, I really don't care about the celebrity, I just enjoy the show..

two years ago I was arrested and charge with second degree murder, rape, sexual battery, and breaking and entering I spend over 40 days in jail because I could not afford lawyer. Now I try to apply for a job but they ask about prior arrests and when I put this down they refuse to hire me outright. What should I do and should I just not admit to the arrests?

I was disgusted some time back to hear that parents of Welsh schoolchildren (a minority I must add) were not willing for part of the curriculum to include learning the Welsh anthem. How can they imply that this is a waste of time? Don't they want their children to integrate into society,join in, and be proud of their heritage. Whether they speak Wlesh or not, it's hardly a huge task to learn one song? What do you think?

When I was in 7th grade the Challenger exploded. After that everyone said that it was going to be our "When JFK was shot." meaning a point in our history when our generation all remembers where we were when it happened (or we first heard about it). Every year there used to be a memorial in all the newspapers about it, but I don't think I have seen any since 9/11.
Not taking anything away from 9/11 but now 9/11 is being called the "JFK of our generation".
