This has long been a world where husbands beat the crap out of their wives. Women should learn to defend themselves--just before calling the police and getting a divorce.

Ermm are you suggesting that women should take a beating from their husbands if he wants to meet out such punishment?
Does that work the other way round?
If anyone is being attacked by anyone I would assume they should defend themselves.

Are you upset that men can't beat there wives up without fear of retaliation? Or are you saying men never used to beat up their wives and only are doing so now? Read any historical novel and I think you will find that domestic violence has been around us always.

Because they have to. The better question is why are so many men using violence against their wives...and why won't law enforcement do anything about it until after she's been maimed or murdered?

i guess if men have been attacking women for centuries and they are tired of it and starting to defend themselves, the world is coming to something a little more healthy than it has been in the past.
