I have heard the term "turtle Island", but I understand this only makes up a small portion and not the land in it's entirety, is there such a name?

My 14 year old son Mark has started teasing my 11 year old daughter Rebecca whenever they're taking a bath because she's started puberty and it's beginning to show.

Mark has already been through puberty, and since he knows it's a tough time, he's been teasing her. And Lord knows that girls are overly sensitive about their bodies at this age. For example, he'll give her a "titty-twister" (that's what he calls it) or he'll yank on her pubic hair until she starts to cry.

How can I get them to get along? I'm just at the end of my tether here. Their father walked out on us several years ago, so I don't get no help. What can I, as a single mother, do?

For instance: a person posts an offensive or racsit question, and when they get unfavorable answers, they get angry, as if you are to support them. They speak thier minds, so why should'nt we?

My teenager goes to a public school and is very popular! During school carnivals, they have silly string fights. My child always get caught in them (because he is popular), and people spray his clothes until they stain. His friends protect him, but fail. His enemy, poeple who are jealous of him, always start this to encourgae others to humiliate him to the whole school. My son loves brand name clothing (such as Quiksilver), and I really hate buying new clothing for him just because they have a permenant stain. My son hates his clothing being stained too. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Well, When I was in 9th grade I didn't finish the year, I went ouside the country, So when I came back i had to star overagain. And now I'm sick of school, I don't want to go, and I don't want to graduate after my classmates. What is it with the way the majority of this countries population thinks?Why are the majority sheep? How is it that millions of people go out and get drunk beyond belief at the weekend, smashing windows, fighting, littering, being abusive, getting arrested etc like animals and it is seen as clever and acceptable? Drugs on the otherhand are not accepted yet cause little to no public disorder. BY THIS I DO NOT MEAN HEROIN. I cannot understand the whole mentality behind drinking large amounts of alcohol at a massive cost to the taxpayer yet it is on the increase more and more. I personally think this is down to people being scared to have thier own opinions and see this as a way to release their built up anger and tension from living an unforfilling mundane life. To me it seems more and more common for people to live "just for the weekend" rather than actually 'doing' sometining with their lives. What do other people think?

When you confront Muslims about the fact that Mohammad married a 6 year old girl, they cry "BUT MARY WAS ONLY 12!" It's a hilarious rebuttal. I don't see anything in the Bible that talks about Mary's age, but I do see where Mohammad asked a little girl many years away from puberty for her hand in marriage. Then it says she got sick and her hair fell out. Sounds like a bad omen to me! I guess it's OK because he came back for her when her hair came back, and presumably was close to entering puberty.

Lets assume Mary was 12, and had undergone puberty. At least God waited until Mary was able to bear a child. Marvelous. Now let's compare that to a 53 year old man who solicits a 6 year old girl for marriage and then has sex with her when she was 9.

I don't see how you can compare the two situations for the sake of justifying one man's lust. God did what he did to fulfill prophecy. Mohammad did what he did to satisfy his sexual desires.

Am I the only one who sees the differenece?
