My question is this....Why do you preach that all women who opt to have an abortion should instead give the baby up for adoption? You state over and over and over that there are women and couples out there that can't have kids but there are just as many children currently in the system who have not been adopted. Why?

I don't see how repeatedly bringing up the adoption issue makes a valid argument.

I am a college graduate, nice looking, hard working, about to go back to grad school for history, love conversations, respect women, born in africa, very cultured, speak 3 languages. Can't they just express their views without acting like children? I mean, it is no wonder there are stereotypes when you kep living up to them! Sometimes questions are asked purely out of ligitimate concern and curiosity. Don't you know you are feeding the flames of racism?

To anyone out there that can draw. My husband wants to get a tattoo for me and I'm all for it but I want it to be something good. Does anyone out there have any ideas or can anyone out there draw something up for me? I want something with the Puerto Rican flag (for him) & the Irish flag (for me) with my name on it? Last night I was shopping with a friend of mine for decorations for one of her friends birthday. This friend has her children every other week. Her daughter's birthday was yesterday. She spent over $30 on the decorations for her friend then said she didn't have enough money to do anything for her daughter. Her baby girl turned 8 so she still is a baby. She tried to justify this by saying "I've done something for her birthday every year. I think her Daddy should take care of this one!" I started to say something but held it back because I was so mad. Please tell me what you would have said to her. I am still steaming about this.

I am not gay but I want to know why people are so against it. It doesn't make sense and I am just wondering because a few of my friends are gay and they are really great people. Just because they are different from what society says we should be, people tease them. What's wrong with people being gay?

ok, so my boyfriend of 2 years broke up w/ me about 3 months ago & I am still upset about it. Some days I hate him & other days I miss him & want him back. When he broke up w/ me he said @ first it was because I was possessive and then he told me he just wanted to be single for awhile. Well two weeks later he starts dating a girl who is 15 (he is 17) & she lives 3 hours away. And they only had met once before they started dating. I don't know what to do anymore. Ive been depressed for awhile & it feels like I will never get over it. Then school is going to start in less then a month and Im really scared to see him because I haven't seen him all summer and I loved it but Im afraid when I see him @ school Im going to get upset and the progress I had made will be gone. I just feel like noone would want to date me. I should just be patient, 3 months isn't really that long of a time right? Do you think that his relationship is just a rebound? What should I do?

This is somewhat of a joke, but this actually did happen. Today I went to the local supermarket, and bought a large bottle of Jack Daniels, and when I got to the check stand (I'm 22 btw)...the lady didn't card me...so I had to tell her that I might be a minor so she should check anyway..../sigh...I'm old now. I'm gonna go play shuffleboard.
