some of your not reading the question people. Yes they do let women in and yes they do go through the same tough training as the men, but training is just that. TRAINING. put them in a real situation and see what happens. I have been there and seen it. Its peoples live at stake if they are not up to the job, so what would you rather have. the P.C brigade being kept happy or real people being kept safe?

women have a place in the police force. They can be good in situations where negotiation is needed or a situation needs defusing, they have lots of other skills to. however other than doing admin or fire control(and just let me say those ladies do a fine job) i see no reason for women to be firefighters, unless they are built like a brick outhouse and could drag a 17 stone man out of a burning building whilst wearing full B.A . I know for a fact there are very few of these ladies out there, so why the f**k do we allow them in.! and please dont tell me its P.C because i can see nothing P.C about putting people at risk. Because believe me when it all goes **** up in a job, you want someone who can get you out not some little girl who cant weild an axe or kick a door in or reach the top of the locker on the truck to make up the equipment, and believe me they exist.And before i get a boll***ing i know of 1that is as strong as any man i`ve met indeed she may be a man. From time to time there are questions here from people who obviously do not know English as well as most of us do. Many people are very rude in their answers. Why?

We are lucky to be able to communicate with people from all over the world here! Those who don't speak English as their first language are at least making an effort! I am flattered that they want to learn our language and want to communicate with us. They are as smart as we are, just trying something new to them. Give them
credit for practicing new skills!

If you have ever been in a foreign country and struggled to make your way in a foreign language, you would not be so quick to insult. Unfortunately, there are enough Americans here who don't bother to learn proper English, so why criticize someone working on a second or third language, rather than not mastering the first?

End of sermon. I enjoy this time of day because there seem to be a lot of people from Europe, Australia and elsewhere on here.
