I am an Arab-Kuwaiti, born and raised in Kuwait :)

Arabs are descendants of Shem, son of Noah.
Even before that... they are the descendant of Abraham through his son Ishmael, and his sons Medan and Median.

I am proud to be an Arab... but also ashamed of some of radicals and extremists who uses ethnicity and religion as a cover up for their own acts!

I feel sorry for the people who make general judgments about Arabs, and generalize an idea... stereotype the whole group!

Arab are known for generosity and hospitality.

As a Black American I sympathize with the plight of Arabs expecially those living in this Racist country. I have had many Arabic friends and I found them to be some of the nicest people in the world. Arabs are passionate people with so much to teach the world. I find it ironic how many White Americans want to accept the medias portrayel of Arabs and Muslims as terrorists and extremists. I have met many Arabs and none of them have been terrorist. In fact the vast majority if not all have wanted nothing mare than to reverse the negative stereotype and extend kindness and understanding. I have an Isreali Jewish boyfriend and the only time we have encountered terrorist rhetorics is when we are in predominetely White areas. We've had Whites say and do the cruelest things with no sense of compassion or humanitarianism at all. Then they turn around and point the finger at Arabs when all they really need is a mirror to see the true terrorists.

I know very little about Arabs. I know this is going to sound horrible, but it's true (in my case): There is a large Arab population where I live, and all the Arab people I've seen usually smell pretty bad. I think they have something against deodorant.

One thing I do notice (and am very appreciative of) is that of all the different people here from other countries, it seems that Arabs try the hardest to speak English. I rarely see an Arabic person speaking any language other than English.

I never had a problem before 9/11, but then I saw little kids dancing in the streets with their parents and burning our flag after the buildings collapsed and realized that they are brought up to hate me.....and I know that it isn't every Arab, but after seeing something like that, how can you trust again? I mean really, a 6 year old happy because thousands of us were killed....just doesn't give me an easy feeling. I am an enemy to these people because of where I was born, I am sad about that, but very nervous and skeptical because of the lengths they seem to go to, to get revenge or whatever these people are going after! I know that I am stereotyping, but how can I change the way I feel, the fear I have and the desire to protect my children....thousands were killed because of this hatred, and kids were dancing in the streets.....

dont mean to be offensive if your a good person but post 9/11 i personally dont trust anybody with dark skin.if you look like a terrorist for all i know you may be one. so nope dont trust them at all.i also find the muslim religion offensive.for instant the way they arrange marriages. i think that is something from 2000 years ago. if your in the uk read the sun today theres an article in there.that will prove my point. also hallah meat isnt that meat from an animal thats had its throat slit.i maybe wrong on that i dont know for sure but if its true its barbarric.what is it with throat slitting and muslims..look at al zaquari in iraq complete animal better of dead.put it this way if my son was beaten up by a group of skinheads hes naturally gonna be warie of skinheads its only natural.so if your getting negative vibes from white british people im afraid you cant blame them.you have to look at people from your own original part of the world.yes you may have been born here but your ancestors wernt.

I lived in Saudi Arabia in the last 10 years and my opinion about Arabs is that they are generally Good People but are Lazy who only wanted a white collar job and a tea with a hoobly-boobly. Here in Saudi Arabia, Saudis are the worst drivers on earth. come to see it LOL.
